Choir

ELCHK Lutheran School Choir was found in 2016. The choir is composed of 55 Primary one pupils who are chosen through audition. The training of the choir aims to foster pupils' musical knowledge and rhythmic skills.

2. 《Ode toJoy》

Introduction:

1. 《God of the Sparrow》 Jaroslav Vajda, the hymn writer of 'God of the sparrow', was one of the leading hymn writers in the 20th century. This work is one of the most popular new hymns in The United Methodist Hymnal (1989). It is a hymn text that would provide answers as to why and how God’s creatures (and children) are to serve him. The Law of God demands perfect love from every creature; the love of God and the Gospel coax a willing response to live as an expression of gratitude.

2. 《Ode to Joy》 is from Beethoven's ninth symphony. The message of this section is "It is divine joy that binds us all together. The joy of friendship and of love, the joy links all living things and gives us earthly pleasures. Live joyfully like conquering heroes, for you are embraced by a loving father from above. Let us raise a song of sympathy and exhortation." The lyrics and music are repeated and paraphrased until its listeners absorb the message.
