Introduction:

1. 《Dream Solister》 The animated TV series 'Euphonium Girls' not only celebrates the sparkling youth through the pursuance of goal, it also allows audience to understand the enchanting experience of learning unfamiliar musical instruments and the treasure found in the school band. The cross-over of heritage and new style could be discovered in the texture: the bass-line, which follows the typical duple time marching band patterns, is perfectly blended with the J-pop melody and structure.

2. 《ひまわりの約束》 Doraemon animated movie 'Stand By Me' marked the reminiscence of many Hong Kong people, as it is also the last work of voice actor Mr. PC Lam, whose Doraemon's character voice has been the closest childhood companion of many generations. The lyrics of the theme song remind us to be frank and truthful to our lifelong friends, while we should also be frank to ourselves.
A little episode occurred as we performed this music to our Japanese friends in Kanagawa Girls School. Despite that we were inferior in performing standard, our music friends were still deeply moved by the song. At that moment, the difference in language and culture do not stop us from being resonated both in soul and music.

3. 《Time to say goodbye》 The aria 'Con te Partiro' received worldwide acclaims by the collaboration of Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli with this English version 'Time To Say Goodbye'. The richly emotional sound of the great Italian operatic music makes this song fondly impressive and hits the hearts of music lovers, and even of the audience in Olympic Games, leagues, as well as those in theatres and in front of the television.
The band version we are performing is from New Sound in Brass, vol. 38, orchestrated and rearranged by the renowned band master Toshio Mashima.
